Boundary snowpack 88% of normal

During the recent Regional District of Kootenay Boundary board meeting, directors were advised that the BC River Forecast Centre said the snowpack in the Boundary region is at 88% of normal.
The recent BC River Forecast Centre assessment said the Boundary snowpack is the lowest in the province — normal is between 90—110%.
Currently, the BC River Forecast Centre shows the West Kootenay snowpack is at 116%.
The directors were told that seasonal snowpacks can still change.
