Slavonic Seniors host the Elks for lunch
The Grand Forks Slavonic Senior Citizens Society Branch No. 143 invited the Elks #493 to join their monthly vegetarian potluck lunch, held on Saturday, Jan. 22.
Nineteen attended at the Slavonic Hall, which included members from both groups and guests. The Elks meet the first Tuesday of the month (except for July and August) at 7:00pm at the Slavonic Hall at 686 – 72nd. Avenue in Grand Forks. It was greatly appreciated to be welcomed by the Slavonics. The Elks looks forward to further opportunities to socialize with our gracious hosts! The next vegetarian potluck is happening Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:30 p.m. at the Slavonic Hall, and is held every third Saturday of the month.
