Santa parade 2011
Nippy weather made for good Christmas cheer at the fifth annual Grand Forks Santa Parade, Dec. 3.
Hundreds of children, parents and grandparents lined 72 Avenue, 2 Street, Market Avenue and 4 Street sipping free hot chocolate while they eagerly awaited the final float with the parade’s namesake on board.
In following the ‘Twisted Night Before Christmas’ theme, the Grinch made an appearance twice – once in the back of a Grand Forks RCMP cruiser and the second time perched beside little Lucy-Lou Who.
