Boundary Youth Soccer Association Spring 2013
Youth soccer starts up season in the spring rain
The first Sunday game day of the season for the Boundary Youth Soccer Association may have been a wet one, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the hundreds of kids who attended.
The first game day was held at the Boundary Central Secondary School fields in Midway on Sunday, April 7. The hundreds of soccer players between four and 18 years old gave an enthusiastic kick off to the season despite the April showers. Free hotdogs and hot chocolate kept everyone warm and umbrellas kept the spectators dry.
The BYSA continues to grow in popularity, so much so that the organization has had to make a call out for more coaches. In Christina Lake the U7 team has nearly doubled since last year.
