Arts and Culture Week 2012
The Boundary was full of artistic inspiration this week during the province-wide Arts and Culture Week, April 22 to 28.
The Boundary District Arts Council and Gallery 2 hosted an interactive visual arts display called How Green is our Valley. More than 200 local students toured the three galleries, which were full of high quality artistic exhibits, including sculptures, woodworking, quilts, paintings, photography and jewelery made by local artists.
There was also a Performing Arts Gala on Earth Day — Sunday, April 22 — at the Grand Forks Secondary School Auditorium featuring a wide array of local musical, dance and dramatic talent.
