Thief steals rims, tires from Castlegar dealership

Castlegar RCMP are on the lookout for a early-morning thief who lifted a set of tires and rims last week from the Hyundai dealership in the Sunflower City.
Castlegar RCMP said officers responded at 5 a.m. to a to a theft at the local dealership where a witness observed theft from a vehicle in the lot.
“The suspect was observed loading all four wheels into his vehicle before departing the scene leaving northbound and onto Woodland Drive,” Castlegar RCMP media release said.
“The suspect is a Caucasian male, approximately 6″0, driving what appears to be a grey Hyunda Santa Fe.”
RCMP said the investigation is ongoing with police requesting anyone with information to contact the Castlegar RCMP detachment at 250-365-7721
