Kootenay Entrepreneurship and Simulation Showdown Event The Kootenay Entrepreneurship Program (KEP), a collaborative program offered by College of the Rockies, Selkirk College, and Kootenay Association for Science and Technology (KAST), is thrilled to announce the upcoming Startup Showdown, a dynamic business simulation competition set to take place on February 3rd and 4th, 2024.

The two-day event will unfold simultaneously at the College of the Rockies, Cranbrook campus, and Selkirk College, Castlegar campus, offering an immersive experience for college students eager to explore the world of entrepreneurship.

Hosted by the renowned business expert, Mike Konkin, the Startup Showdown is specially crafted for students with aspirations of launching their own businesses in the future, providing them with invaluable insights and knowledge, even if they have no prior business background.

Students can register for free either as a team of 2-4 or as individuals. Individual registrants will be placed onto teams, giving them the exciting opportunity to collaborate with other students from various programs, fostering a dynamic environment for creative exchange.
