During the past week, Detachment Commander Sergeant Darryl Peppler said Grand Forks police attended to a few motor vehicle accidents throughout the Boundary area.

In many incidents, weather played a factor.

“Winter is clearly here and we ask motorists to ensure their vehicles are ready for the season,” said Sergeant Peppler.

“And while having a vehicle equipped with snow tries is great, there is no substitution for simply slowing down and driving cautiously.”
