Interior Health hosts pop-up vaccine clinics in Kootenay Boundary area

Interior Health will host drop-in immunization clinics in the Kootenay Boundary area for anyone who has not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or anyone who received their first dose more than 28 days ago.

People can walk-up, register and receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccine.

August 13 – Finley’s Bar and Grill –  5 p.m. – 8 p.m. – 705 Vernon St, Nelson *$15 gift cards for Finley’s available for people getting vaccinated

August 13 and 14 Selkirk College 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. -311 Broadway St, Nakusp

August 14 Trail IncrEDIBLE Market 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – 1300-1400 block Esplanade Ave, Trail

August 14 Outside the Ice Creamery 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Off Hwy 3, Christina Lake* Gift vouchers for ice cream available for people getting vaccinated

August 19 Beaverdell Community Hall 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – 5841 Hwy 33, Beaverdell August 20 Fruitvale Pole Yard 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Across from Canco gas station

August 21 Gyro Park Gazebo 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – 234 Park Rd, Trail

August 21 Station Museum Farmer’s Market – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. – 400 13 Avenue, Castlegar, behind City Hall

Anyone in the area born in 2009 or earlier is eligible for immunization.

People are eligible for their second dose 28 days after receiving their first dose. Ongoing immunization clinics. People can also get their first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by dropping in to an immunization clinic or making an appointment.
