People all over the globe are doing their best to flatten the curve as the world continues to deal with Coronavirus COVID-19.

BC saw a spike in the numbers Wednesday, as 71 more COVID-19 cases were confirmed raising the total in BC at 1,795 cases in British Columbia, with 153 reported in Interior Health.

IH also reported its first death earlier this week.

Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Director Roly Russell has teamed up with City of Grand Forks Mayor Brian Taylor to keep citizens of the Boundary region up to date with vital information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this segment, Russell and Taylor invite School District 51 Superintendent Ken Minette to the table to update the public on how local schools in the Boundary region are adapting education under social distancing protocols.

The municipal politicians are using YouTube to speak directly with citizens of the Boundary Region.
