A 60-year-old Trail woman is facing a handful of charges after police executed a warrant at her Columbia Heights home, according to RCMP Acting Sgt. Darryl Orr.
“On Sept. 22 (Friday), the Trail and Greater District Crime Reduction Unit and the Kootenay Boundary Regional General Investigation Section executed a search warrant … and seized what are believed to be cocaine and fentanyl,” Orr said.
“A 60-year-old female was arrested and taken into custody, and has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking as well as three counts of breach of undertaking.”
Orr said the woman will be remanded in custody at least until her first court appearance in Rossland this October.
