Only a few more sleeps for the Grand Forks Park in the Park Car Show

There’s only a few more sleeps before car buffs open presents for the fifth annual Grand Forks Park in the Park Show in the Boundary City, August 18-20.
“Grand Forks Park in the Park is very happy to be going in to its fifth year of hosting a car show in the picturesque Grand Forks, BC City Park,” said organizers.
“ . . . with three days of show related events as well as lots of camping and other activities, makes this an ideal destination for the whole family.”
The event, hosted this year by Magnum Auto Inc., opens Friday with early registration at Magnum Auto Inc. at 283 Central Ave.
Saturday, the main part of the weekend kicks off with a meet and cruise to Midway for a visit to the Silver Kettle Village.
After lunch, it’s back to Grand Forks for the Magnum’s Park in the Park block party from 5-9 p.m.
Sunday, the day begins with Elks pancake breakfast at Grand Forks City Park BMX Track as well as registration.
The show begins at 9 a.m. with a Blues Brothers Tribute act, The Soulmen Perform from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Winners are announced at 2:30 p.m.
