No team in the Murdoch Division wants to face high-flying Beaver Valley in the first round of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League playoffs — especially a Nelson Leafs franchise which has been sent to the golf course by the Nitehawks the past four seasons.

The Leafs and the Grand Forks Border Bruins kept their respective hopes alive of not finishing in the dreaded Murdoch Division fourth place by skating to a 5-5-overtime tie Sunday afternoon at the NDCC Arena.
