RCMP say rash of B&E's hit Christina Lake

Grand Forks RCMP is advising residents of Christina Lake to be on the lookout after three residences were burglarized in the past few days.

Sergeant Jim Fenske said in a media release that police have responded to several complaints in the 2700 Block of West Lake Road in Christina Lake.

“Grand Forks RCMP members confirmed that three seasonal residences had been broken into,” Fenske said.

“Household items such as tools, a television, a security camera and computer equipment were stolen.”

“In addition some alcohol was stolen,” he added.

Fenske said the B & E’s occurred sometime on November 7.

Fenske said Grand Forks RCMP were assisted by the Forensic Indentification Section in Nelson after some items of evidence was discovered at the scene.

Police are reminding the public to remove valuables upon closing cabins for the summer and to frequently check on the property.
