There are two fine venues in Christina Lake this year! Visit Joan Bartlett at Little Burro Western Art Gallery, Joan is a western and wildlife bronze artist, Joan shares her gallery with long-time friend and kindred spirit, Faye Gustafson, who is well-known for her oil paintings reminiscent of her ranching heritage. Both artists have had works juried into many major art shows in the U.S. and Canada. Also offered for sale in the gallery are note cards, postcards, aprons, hand-painted clay sculptures and some unique horseshoe and iron art.  On the tour weekend, Joan will be demonstrating her sculpting techniques and Faye will be working on her latest oil painting. Arts on 3 Gallery is located inside the Christina Living Arts Centre, the vibrant hub of the Lake. Enjoy lunch or a coffee at Lisa’s Bistro while you tour the Gallery and see a great representation of regional artists working in wood, stone, pottery, paint and jewelry. Canadian and American glassblowers are featured here, alongside native art and fiber. Stroll to the lake for a dip, marvel at the 3-D floor mural and “green” designed building, and enjoy the trails in the nearby nature park.
