Every once in a while, I think it’s a good idea to remind you all of the wonderful recurring programs that we have at the library. We’ve got storytime every Friday morning (10:30-11:00 am);

  • Chess Club on Tuesdays (4-7 pm) and Saturdays (3-4:30 pm);
  • Kids Knitting on Thursdays (3:45-5:15 pm); Adult Knitting on Saturdays (1:15-2:45 pm);
  • Conversational Spanish Club on Tuesdays (6:30-7:30 pm);
  • Tech Cafe – for any computer/tablet/smartphone/etc help you might need – on Tuesdays (6-7 pm);
  • Community Learning Place – free literacy help, in partnership with CBAL – on Tuesdays (2-5 pm);
  • Genealogy Group on the first Wednesday of the month (10 am);
  • Writer’s Guild on the third Thursday of the month (6 pm);
  • and our Grand Forks monthly bookclub (last Thursday of the month at 7 pm)
  • and Christina Lake monthly bookclub (last Wednesday of the month at the Christina Lake Welcome Centre at 1:30 pm).

Hopefully there’s something  there that will interest you!

Donations

If you’ve got any kids DVDs that are in good condition (i.e. you haven’t been using them as frisbees) that you are no longer watching, please consider donating them to us!

Gardening Talk

Join Val Rich on Thursday, May 21 at 6:30 pm for an informal discussion on gardening in Grand Forks – what works, what doesn’t…and what will those deer really leave alone?!
