LIBRARY MUSINGS: Purple Pirate comes to GF

Have you got a ticket yet for the Starlight Dinner? It’s a raffle to benefit the library – put on by the Board of Directors and the Friends of the Library (two groups of volunteers that work tirelessly to support your public library!). Here’s how it works: you can buy a ticket for $20, and if you win, you get to invite 7 friends/family/strangers/etc to a fancy dinner at a secret garden location. There will be seven courses, with seven paired wines – and not just any wines, but the good stuff! To buy a ticket, drop by the library.
Purple Pirate
Children’s entertainer and musician “The Purple Pirate” will be at the library on Friday, July 10 at 11 am. You’ll get to learn how to build your own pirate ship – and there’ll be dancing, magic, and lots of team work. Fun for the whole family!
The Fawns
Join us on Thursday, July 16th at 6:30 pm for a presentation and informal talk about deer and fawns in Grand Forks. There are lots of fawns this year, come and learn how to best deal with this form of wildlife in Grand Forks.
