New titles this month include: “Dirty Apron Cookbook”, “Family Meals”, “Flavor Flours”, “Fresh From the Farm”, “Honey and Oats”, “Make It Ahead”, “Mason Jar Salads and More”, “One Pot”, “Plenty More”, “Tin Fish Gourmet”, and the newest addition to the ever-popular Whitewater series: “Whitewater Cooks with Passion”.

Board Meeting

NFB Film Club

Our next film night will be on Thursday, December 11 at 6:30 pm – we’ll be screening a documentary on residential schools, called “We Were Children”. It looks at the profound impact the residential school system had, told through the eyes of two young children who were forced to face hardships beyond their years. It’s an intense film, containing disturbing content, and is recommended for audiences 16 years of age and older.

Fabulous Friday

We’ll be having another of our Fabulous Fridays on December 12, from 2:00 – 3:30 pm. Come to the library for a family-friendly afternoon of activities – we’ve got crafts, board games, chess, and more. All ages welcome!

Storytime with Santa

That’s right, boys and girls – Santa will be paying us a visit on Friday, December 19 at 10:30, for a very special storytime.

Legoland

All you fans of Lego, we’ll see you here for our next Legoland day: Friday, December 19 from 2 – 3:30 pm. We bring out the bins, and you do the rest!
