GF power outtage extended into business hours

A scheduled power outtage was extended yesterday by almost two hours. Fortis originally planned a power outtage on Mother’s Day, which didn’t work for local businesses, so they rescheduled for May 25.
Yesterday, the power outtage was scheduled for 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. but due to complication, which the City of Grand Forks called minor, the outtage was extended for another 1 hour and 40 minutes. The power came back on around 11 a.m.
The outtage only affected parts of Grand Forks.
