Police report missing 28-year-old Tyler Sheriff located
Nelson RCMP are pleased to report that a 28-year-old man missing since Wednesday (April 16) has been found.
Tyler Sheriff was located on Friday evening (April 18).
Sheriff was last seen Wednesday hitchhiking east at the Highway 3A/6 Junction at South Slocan.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance and tips in determining the whereabouts of Sheriff.
Police need public assistance in finding 28-year-old Tyler Sheriff
Nelson RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 28-year-old man missing since Wednesday (April 16).
Tyler Sheriff was last seen Wednesday hitchhiking east at the Highway 3A/6 Junction at South Slocan.
Police believe Sheriff had the intention of finding a ride to Nelson.
Sheriff is approximately 5’7″, 145 pounds with brown hair. He was last wearing a long blue/green coat with a camouflage hoodie underneath.
Sheriff is missing his two front teeth and currently has a moustache and beard.
Anyone who has any information or who sees Tyler Sheriff is asked to call either Nelson Police Department (354-3919) or Nelson RCMP (352-2156) immediately.
Sheriff is the second person to go missing in the Nelson area during the last month.
A Nelson woman was reported missing in early April but unfortunately was found deceased by Search and Rescue (Friday) April 11 near the Burlington Northern Rail bed on the way to Troup Junction.
