Someone in BC has hit the Lotto Max Jackpot

Someone in BC is going to be pretty happy when they check their Lotto Max ticket.

The Lottery Corporation said there is one winning ticket for the $50-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw — and it was purchased by someone in Langley — after four consecutive weeks of no one winning the massive jackpot.

There were also three prizes of $280,011.00 in the LOTTO MAX 6/7+Bonus category won by winning tickets purchased in Ontario and 17 of the 50 $1 Million MAXMILLIONS prizes werfe won or shared.

Tickets winning MAXMILLIONS prizes were purchased in Edmonton (2) Calgary, Winnipeg (3) Saskatchewan, Alberta (2), Atlantic Provinces, Ontario (8), British Columbia (2) and Quebec (4).

The $100,000 EXTRA prize was won by two lucky tickets purchased in Manitoba and Alberta.

The jackpot for next Friday’s draw will be approximately $43-million.
