The board and staff of gallery 2 are pleased to invite you to the 22nd Annual Wine Tasting this November 23rd; this is the night of our largest yearly fundraiser.

You are in for a classic evening; “A Vintage Christmas” holds the lantern of times past, a peek through the window of timeless traditions and the warmth of those memorable Christmases of long ago.

Wine lovers you’re in for an exhilarating experience as you enter the grand old building and sample the fine wines from the many wineries who will be pouring their best and in many cases, award winning vintages.  Many of the favourite wineries from past years will be rejoining us as well as several new additions such as Baille Grohman Winery in Creston and Adega on 45th Winery from Osoyoos.

For those that are interested in fine craft ales, Nelson Brewing Company will be back with their well-known organic brews, as well as Tin Whistle Brewing this year from Penticton will be joining them to offer tastes of their flavourful sensations.

What are wine, brew and spirits without the accompaniment of a varied selection of delectable food?  Several of the valley’s local food producers with gallery 2’s own “Court Jesters” will be providing a sumptuous assortment of both sweet and savoury appetizers and treats that is always a culinary pleasure.

Whether you dig out the suit and tie, don the three inch heels or dress casually – you’ll be delighted with an opportunity to educate yourself in the ways of wine and brew through tasting the subtle differences between products and their producers in a pleasurable and relaxed atmosphere.

Tickets are available at gallery 2 gift shop or by phoning and reserving a spot.

Costs are $45 for members and $50 for non-members.

Member price offered for tickets bought in blocks of 10.  A good alternative and welcome change to the customary office Christmas party.

Safe ride home offered – phone for more details

Don’t be disappointed, tickets sell out fast.
