City continues to make improvements around town
The City of Grand Forks is continuing with small but meaningful projects to enhance and beautify some of the city’s popular areas.
In July, city crews upgraded the beach access to a swimming hole on Riverside Drive, “the Corner”, to include steps down to the swimming area, picnic tables and a portable toilet.
In August, the access to Observation Mountain trailhead was upgraded to include parking and a visible and clear pathway up to the trail.
“Even the small projects can make a big difference to help beautify our community,” said Mayor Brian Taylor. “We’re pleased that this work has been completed so our residents can enjoy these areas this summer.”
