Drivers on Hwy. 3 should expect minor delays until Sept. 30. The BC Ministry of Transportation is resurfacing the highway from Eholt Road to Fisherman Creek Road — a distance of 5.2 km.

Delays are not expected to be longer than 10 minutes as they work on widening the shoulderes and resurfacing the side roads. Some of the older concrete guard rails are also being replaced. The Ministry has a pilot car that is leading traffic through the construction zone.

Work started on Aug. 14 by Emil Anderson Construction — a Kelowna company. The cost is estimated to be $1.5 million.
