Advanced polling numbers are up

Advanced voting numbers are up, slightly, in the Boundary-Similkameen electoral district.
In 2009, there were 27,942 registered voters. During the advanced voting polls in the same year a total of 4,303 voters cast their ballots early.
This year, there are 28,817 registered voters. Saturday’s results aren’t in but so far there were almost 400 more early voters on Wednesday, 30 more on Thursday and 14 more on Friday.
The results from Saturday’s polls are expected later this afternoon.
