LIBRARY MUSINGS: Don't miss the book sale or garden talk at the library
Hi Folks!
Here’s what’s going on at the library:
Book Sale
It’s almost here – starting Thursday, April 25 at 10 am (come be a part of the lineup!), and wrapping up on Saturday, April 27 at 3 pm. We’ve got books for all ages, fiction and non-fiction, and it’s all by donation.
Fabulous Friday
We’ll be having another of our popular all ages Fabulous Friday events on Friday, April 26 from 1 to 3 pm – come for the snacks, stay for the chess, board games, crafts, or the Xbox.
Mary, Mary quite contrary
How does your garden grow? If you’re Val Rich, it grows really, really well! Join her at the library on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 pm for an informal conversation on all things gardening. Everyone welcome – refreshments will be served.
Permaculture
You know that feeling you get when its noon and you’ve been gardening all day and you need a break? Here’s what you do – just come on down to the library on Thursday, May 9 at 12:30 for a Learn @ Lunch talk on Permaculture (it’s all about growing your own food, building natural homes, restoring ecosystems, catching rainwater, and building community ). Sarah Orlowski, from Filbelly Forest, will be presenting an informative slideshow of her pemaculture studies in Nicaragua.
And don’t forget
