Learn @ Lunch
Sally Caisley will be back on Friday, Mar. 15 at noon, with another of her popular workshops for seniors – this time, she’ll be talking about Social Connectedness. Refreshments will be served!
Dad’s Storytime
We’ve got some very special storytimes just for Dad’s in March, on Saturday, Mar. 16 and Mar. 23, at 10:30 a.m. Bring your lil’ ones in for songs, rhymes, and stories – why let moms have all the fun?
Screen Smart
Boundary Early Years Service Providers have banded together to promote activities that don’t involve screens (computer, television, gaming consoles, etc.). The library will be hosting a Fabulous Friday event from 1 to 3 pm on Friday, Mar. 22, and a special wrap-up event from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 23 which will include a visual treasure hunt and a magic show (which starts at 1:30 p.m.)
Book Clubs
And last but not least, our book club will be meeting on Wednesday, Mar. 27 (1:30 p.m.) in Christina Lake and Thursday, Mar. 28 (7 p.m.) at the library – the March selection is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, a wonderfully engaging, thought-provoking, and bestselling work of non-fiction.
Happy Storytelling!
