BOO!

Not scared? Well, maybe heading out to the Freaker’s Ball will do the trick (get it, trick??) Yes the Freaker’s is on for Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Wildlife Hall in Grand Forks so get ready to rock with No Fine Print.

A classic and contemporary rock band from Trail B. C., No Fine Print’s repertoire is a fine blend of old and new.

This power trio consists of Paul Dasti on bass guitar and vocals, Aaron Andrews on guitar and vocals and Doug Deyotte on drums and vocals.

It all started in the spring of 2011 when Aaron was shown a YouTube video of Paul’s Ontario band called Nickel.  He was most impressed and wanted to meet this person of interest from the 70s.

The rest is history.  They have rapidly been gaining popularity in the East and West Kootenays ever since.

Paul Dasti has roots in rock having a band called Nickel in Sudbury Ontario as far back as the 70’s, Doug Deyotte has played in numerous bands throughout the East and West Kootenays for the past 35 years, and Aaron Andrews, while new to the scene, is considered by many to be one of the greatest up and coming guitarists in the area.

Along with great music, Les Folles Jambettes, hosting this year’s event, will ensure that freakers are well-cared for with refreshments and snacks. Philip the Butcher will be on site offering tasty smokies fresh from the grill for those who are into some munchies throughout the evening.

Get your tickets now because they’re going fast! Tickets are $15 a person at Thistle Pot Gifts, The Source and Huckleberry Market.

Costumes required, designated driver available for rides home and no minors please. No tickets at the door if sold out in advance – no exceptions.
