Off the Unbeaten Trail is a fundraising event for the Grand Forks ATV Club (GFATV). The event will take place at the Grand Forks Wildlife Hall on Saturday, May 12 from noon to 4:00 p.m.

Throughout the day will be a BBQ featuring local pork (North Fork Pork & Poultry) and beef (Carl Sidwell) on a bun made by B & B Bakery using local flour. In addition, local chefs will man the barbeque; Jeff from Clyde’s and Cheryl and Maryann from the Station Pub. This event is family friendly with food, refreshments and games for the kids organized by students from the local high school.

The fundraiser is a reverse draw, which means the winner of $1500 is the last ticket drawn. However, other money and donated prizes will be drawn throughout the event. Tickets cost $20 and are available at participating businesses and members of the club. Check out the event poster at www.gfatv.ca for more information.

In addition to displays from Playmor, Main Jet, B&F Sales, and ATV-BC there will be a Tailgate Market. The Tailgate Market is like a flea market featuring used items such as bikes, snowmobiles, skates – anything used to move people. Back in your truck, open up the tailgate, set up your items, and get ready to sell. To reserve a spot at the Tailgate Market contact Doug Zorn at 250-442-3359

Also, the GFATV club is grateful for the support from the Station Pub & Clyde’s for helping to promote the Reverse Draw fundraiser. Both pubs have agreed to give 10% off (excluding alcohol) for customers who purchase an event tickets on the following dates.

The GFATV club will sell tickets at Clyde’s on Saturday, Apr. 14 and Saturday, Apr. 21 and at the Station Pub on Thursday, Apr. 12 and Thursday, Apr. 19 starting at 5 p.m.
