Imagine a cold winters night, the wind is blowing and snow is flying and you are hungry and homeless, desperately searching for a place to sleep, out of the cold.  This is not Toronto or Detroit; this happens in Grand Forks almost every night in winter.   The Boundary Emergency and Transitional Housing Society (BETHS) is now open and operating seven days a week at the Christian Centre, a warm safe place to spend the winter nights. The shelter is open to men, woman and families  We are searching for a logo and we are inviting all graphic artists and those with an artistic flare, as well as students of all ages, to submit their design by Feb. 15, 2012.

The winner will receive a gift and the honour of contributing a lasting symbol for the shelter.  Please send your submission to:  BETHS  Box 1663 Grand Forks B.C. V0H 1H0
