Sunshine brought to Grand Forks by quilters

The Sunshine Quilters Guild brought rays of light to Grand Forks at their bi-annual show in August.
The show filled the Grand Forks curling rink with beautiful art and a car for the men!
The local guild contributes to the community through scholarships, donations to the Christmas Hampers, and other charities including international Rotary Club projects.
Activities they are planning for the coming year include workshops, in-guild projects and instruction, retreats, an open house and sale, holiday festivities, hosting the 2012 West Kootenay Quilt Conference and more!
The guild meets on Tuesdays. New members of all skill levels are welcome – even if you’ve never sewn a stitch in your life! Contact: Stephanie 250-442-8493.
