What are you doing for Canada Day? Hiking Observation Mountain? Eating birthday cake at Gyro Park? Taking in the vintage faire in Rock Creek or perhaps the rodeo is more your speed?   • July 1, 2011 – 2nd Annual Discover Rock Creek Canada Day Heritage Walk. Registration @ east parking lot of Rock Creek General Store at 8:30-9:30am. FREE. Contact Ann @ 250.446.2409 or annrexin@hotmail.com for more info. Non-motorized floats, wagons, all welcome to join in the parade. Join us for lunch at the Rock Creek Medical building, compliments of Rock Creek Medical Society, the Kettle River Lions and desserts by the Rock Creek Women’s Institute. 
  • Duck Race: Come chose your duck and cheer it on as it floats the Kettle River. Prize for first duck to cross the finish line!
