Grand Forks once again welcomes Maitreyi, Yogacharini from India this June. Practical mystic and the founder of Arkaya, Maitreyi is returning to offer her Yoga Bija program – level one of her Foundation Course (which is also the first stage of the 200 hour teacher training.) She has taught a wide variety of people, from Buddhist monks in Sri Lanka, prisoners in Sweden, yoga teachers in Vancouver to children and CEOs in India.

Maitreyi is a published writer with over 100 articles on yoga and self awareness. She is one of the youngest members of the Advisory Board of the World Yoga Council in Europe. She is also a Senior Teacher in the Yoga Association of British Columbia.

Some may have participated in her workshops last May which were offered to give an experience of the classical yoga teachings. This course is more in depth and will take participants on an evolutionary journey.

Prepare to gently yet purposefully create positive shifts and transform!

No previous yoga experience is necessary to participate. All those who are passionate about tuning in to a harmonious reality will naturally be drawn to this course. A willingness to look at one’s lifestyle, be with one’s fears and pain, and release them will be a necessary quality, along with the capacity to look a the humor in one’s life. Both those who would like to teach, as well as those who simply wish to learn more about classical yoga for themselves are welcome.

Kindly note this is not a drop in class – although the one day opening workshop on June 5 is open to all, the rest of the program requires commitment to be present.

Saturday, June 5 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Magik of Mindfulness Funshop;

Running from Tuesday, June 8 through Saturday, June 19 over six sessions Yoga Bija Level One of the 200 hour teacher training program.
