Zorn talks about the agriculture industry in the Boundary
Doug Zorn, president of the Grand Forks and Boundary Regional Agricultural Society (GFBRAS), talks about the challenges of the agriculture industry in the Boundary. Overcoming challenges and working to improve the industry in the region, GFBRAS has been very active in the last two years since their inception. Their projects include: seed bank, community gardens, Future Boundary Growers in the elementary schools, developing a food co-operative, and creating solutions to meat regulations for producers.
In this first segment of an ongoing series of interviews, Zorn talks about some of the barriers to agriculture development and communications.
