Updated: Seva Saturdays coming in January

Seva Saturdays are continuing in the New Year! Starting Jan. 9 the Seva Centre Cooperative will be providing open community sessions two Saturdays each month. This is a great opportunity to sample the experience of the instructors from the Seva Centre. Admission is by donation. Classes are at the Boundary Women’s Centre at 268 Market Ave. from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Saturday, Jan. 9: Elisabeth Guentert Bay leads: Accessing our body’s inherent wisdom and healing capacities.

Become curious and discover your body’s language in this fun, introduction to the process of transforming our pain into healing. Your body knows more than you know – by reconnecting and learning your body’s messages you can start to take steps towards healing yourself.

Thursday, Jan. 7, 7:00 p.m. at the Granby Dance Studio: Bellyfit with Stanya LeClair. LeClair will be offering two classes in this wonderful blend of bellydance and fitness. The second class will be held at the Boundary Women’s Resource Centre on Sat. Jan. 9, 11:30 a.m.

Saturday, Jan. 23: Michele Dean provides information to help you Cleanse and Clear your Environment.

Cleanse and clear your home or work space and experience wellness and peace. Explore different methods including the use of herbs, essential oils, sound vibration and focused intention. Participants are encouraged to share their methods and practices for space clearing.
