Grand Forks volunteers recognized

Grand Forks Mayor Brian Taylor was on hand to honour the people who make many local activities and organizations possible at the city’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Night held on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at the Grand Forks Art Gallery. Laura Savinkoff was awarded a “Certificate of Merit for Outstanding Volunteer Work” within the community. Savinkoff was one of 11 volunteers that the city congratulated at the event.
