This past weekend both Castlegar Pee Wee House teams travelled to Spokane, Washington to compete in the Young American Days Pee Wee House Tournament. 

In round robin play the Castlegar Giants defeated SAYHA 3 with  a score of 3-0.  They then played Cranbrook defeating them 2-1 with final round robin play against Nelson with Castlegar Giants seeing a win of 2-0.

The Nelson Leafs scored seven unanswered goals en route to an 8-2 pounding of the Grand Forks Border Bruins in Kootenay International Junior Hockey League action Friday night at the NDCC Arena.
