Here at the library, we like to think of ourselves as the community’s living room. I don’t know about you, but my own living room has many of the things we’ve got here: couches, newspapers, magazines, board games, lego, knitting needles and wool, children, and more!

It’s a place for conversations, relaxing, learning – and meeting new people. And there’s no better way to meet new people than by attending some of the wonderful programs we’ve got going on:

Fabulous Friday

Come to the library on Friday, April 4 from 1 – 3 pm for another of our Fabulous Fridays! Free fun for all ages, with refreshments provided. No registration required – just drop in anytime. We’ve got crafts, puppets, board games, chess, etc.

Leggo my Lego

Drop by the library on Friday, April 11 from 1 – 3 pm for our very popular Lego Club. All ages welcome!

Book Club

This month’s book is Kay Redfield Jamison’s bestselling An Unquiet Mind: A Memoir of Moods and Madness. It’s a powerful, honest examination of bipolar illness from the perspective of someone who has treated it in her work as a doctor, and who has also experienced it. Pick up your copy today!

Teen Knitting

Our Teen Knitting Club is back by popular demand! Come by the library on April 3, 10, 17, and 24 at 3:30 pm – beginners are welcome, and all materials will be provided (but we’re always looking for donations, so bring us your extra wool).

Board Games

Come play board games – we’ve got everything from Settlers of Catan to Citadels to Carcassonne, every Friday afternoon from 2 – 4:30 pm.

AGM

You are all cordially invited to attend our Annual General Meeting, which will be held at the library on Wednesday, April 9 at 7 pm.
