Spectacular! Spectacular! The Moulin Rouge is coming to town!

Mr. Zedler, curator of the world famous Moulin Rouge, is hosting a one night only all ages dance extravaganza. He has specially handpicked acts from around the boundary that will wow the senses and leave adults and children alike in awe.

This year Les Folles Jambettes Cancan Troupe have the pleasure of once again (after many years) being the hosts of the annual Dance Extravaganza, and they are creating a flamboyantly wild and exciting show the likes of which Grand Forks has never seen.  With the help of Mr. Zedler and acts ranging from Irish to belly dance and everything in between they are going to transport the Grand Forks Auditorium back to 1800’s Paris and the beautiful Moulin Rouge. There will be 12 exciting dance troupes performing this year including special guests the Boomtown Garter Girls from Rossland!

The show will be on Thursday, Nov. 13. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-10 and free for children 5 and under. Advance tickets are available at Huckleberry Mountain Market (Christina Lake) and Thistle Pot Gifts (Grand Forks).

Come on out and enjoy a true Parisian spectacle! Mr. Zedler boasts to have the best dancing talent this side of the pond, and with styles from all ends of the earth, this show promises to be some of the most exciting entertainment you’ll see all year (at least so far!).
