Dummies on skis hit the slopes at Phoenix

Dummy races were front and center as the Phoenix Mountain Alpine Ski Society held their annual Spring Fling event this past Sunday at the Phoenix Ski Hill. Over a dozen dummies were hand-made by residents of the area and were sent downhill to win prizes in events such as big air, best crash, and more. Winners were: Best Jump: “Hi I’m Johnny Knoxville, Welcome to Phoenix” by the Mehmal Family
Best Crash: “Hi I’m Johnny Knoxville, Welcome to Phoenix” by the Mehmal Family
Best Looking: “Bird in the Nest” by Diane Lapalme
The Peoples’ Choice prize went to “BB Downhill Dummy” (aka Wheelchair Guy) by Seth Bellevue & Tim Blair
