For the second year in a row, the Grand Forks International Baseball Tournament has been cancelled.
For second time in as many years, the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic has forced organizers to cancel the Grand Forks International Baseball Tournament.
Tournament organizers said recent decisions by the Province and Health Authorities have indicated that it will not be possible to hold large gatherings and events throughout summer 2021 in BC.
Like most events held throughout the province, the pandemic cancelled the GFI tournament in 2020.
Prior to 2020 cancellation, the last time the GFI was cancelled was in 2018 when flooding devasted the areas in and around Grand Forks.
