The Boundary Youth Soccer Association season started off this weekend in Grand Forks with more than 28 teams and kids from two to teens racing around the school fields, Sunday, April 15.

The K4K (Kicks for Kids) for two to four year-olds was held at the Grand Forks Secondary School field along with the older teams, while the Mini Soccer Game Day for U6 and U8 divisions kicked off at the Perley Elementary School fields the same morning.

The Mini Soccer Game Day is less about structure and winning then it is about having fun while learning along the way. The teams from Christina Lake, Grand Forks and Greenwood started out with a series of fun drills to help them with their soccer skills, followed by a friendly game against another team.
