Squamish RCMP have conducted an investigation after security team Sea to Sky Gondola reported Monday morning that the line to the gondola had been cut and had crashed into the mountain.
RCMP received the call September 14th, 2020, at 4 a.m. from Sea to Sky Gondola security team.
RCMP said members attended immediately and began to assess information and contain the area.

In a media release Monday, the Interior Health (IH) has declared the outbreak related to the Okanagan Correctional Centre (OCC) over.
Interior Health said in total, seven staff tested positive for COVID-19 with no one in custody contracting the virus.
