Teams entered will be competing for more than $10,000 in prizes.

"We could not hold the successful event without our sponsors however  once again the local merchants and businesses throughout the kootenays along with a couple major sponsors have stepped up and done their part in making it what it is today we thank them for their support," said tournament organizers.

This event features all levels of play, from league curlers to provincial level teams, competing in similar skill sets for cash prizes.

Teams are guaranteed five games and the cost is $420 per team, which includes a steak dinner. Limited spaces are available for teams or individuals wishing to curl.
