Santa parade and light up big success

The annual Christmas Santa Claus’ parade and Christmas tree light up at Gyro Park gathered big crowds, Dec. 5 as well as many registrants in the parade.
It was the biggest one ever, according to organizers, with 23 entries.
Participants were asked to follow the theme “Not a Creature was Stirring” and were judged with River Valley Community Church coming in first followed by the Grand Forks Fire/Rescue and EMS float. Citizens on Patrol came in third.
