Liam and Olivia most popular baby names

The most popular baby names in BC for the year of 2014 have been released.
In the boy’s category, Liam comes out on top, with 265 Liams born last year. Mason came in second (248) and Ethan third (234).
For the girls, Olivia was the most popular name last year with 284 babies born with this name. Emma (250) came in second and Sophia (219).
All names that were registered more than five times, have been added to the list compiled by BC’s Vital Statistics Agency.
